Who we are (the data controller)

What data we collect
Through the pledge enquiry form we collect:
- Your name
- Your business name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- The tier you'd like to support and any message you send us
We do not collect data from children through this website.
Lawful basis
We process this data under Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR — steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract(responding to your pledge enquiry and issuing an invoice) and, for the Supporters Register listing, Article 6(1)(a) — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
What we use it for
- Responding to your pledge enquiry
- Issuing and administering your sponsorship invoice
- Listing your business on the public Supporters Register (only with your agreement)
- Sending your welcome pack and badge assets
- Occasional service updates about your live sponsorship
We do not use your data for marketing to unrelated third parties and we never sell it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months. Invoiced sponsorship records are kept for 7 years to meet HMRC record-keeping obligations. Supporters Register entries are kept while your sponsorship is active and removed on expiry or on request.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the processors we need to run the service:
- Our hosting and database provider (Lovable Cloud)
- Our email provider, when we reply to you
- Our accountants, for invoiced-sponsorship records
- Law enforcement or regulators where legally required
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data rectified
- Have your data erased (subject to our HMRC retention obligations)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Withdraw consent to being listed on the Supporters Register
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
